Sun is a registered patent attorney and a partner at Klintworth and Rozenblat IP. She is passionate about helping clients establish and protect their intellectual property rights in the United States and abroad.
Drawing upon her previous engineering experience, Sun recognizes the challenges and opportunities in the research, development and manufacturing processes. In the past, she has led research and development teams in commercializing technologies and has also worked as a process and materials engineer in the coating and plastic industries. Through her working knowledge of information technology, more specifically in the areas of data center operations and e-commerce architectures, Sun gained unique insight into understanding the practical implications and the challenges facing her clients.
More recently, she has served clients with patentability, freedom-to-operate, and validity opinions and patent drafting and prosecution in the areas of medical devices, adhesives, sterilization systems and indicators, chemical compositions, confectionery manufacturing, nanofibers and filtration.
Sun is fluent in Korean and serves Korean and other international clients.
