Dr. Liu earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Emory University, where her doctoral research focused on the molecular mechanisms linking Type 2 Diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. Her academic background also includes extensive research into neuroinflammation, neurodegenerative diseases, and aging. She received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University, where she was awarded the Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Scholarship. Dr. Liu has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, advancing the understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and related pathologies.
She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is an active member of the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance (GIPA), Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), ChIPs Atlanta, and Science ATL.
