Practice Summary.

Molly Little is a Scientific Advisor in the Intellectual Property Practice of Klintworth & Rozenblat LLP. She provides scientific and technical expertise in support of patent preparation and prosecution, focusing on biochemistry, cellular and developmental biology, and related life sciences. Her role includes evaluating inventions, preparing scientific disclosures, and advising on patent strategies across a broad range of biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovations.


Ms. Little is a doctoral candidate in the Biochemistry, Cell, and Developmental Biology department at Emory University, where she leads research projects on small molecule drug development, protein structure-function relationships, and their clinical applications. Her work has included investigating RNA-binding proteins in Huntington’s disease, structural factors in Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease, and nuclear receptor regulation by endogenous ligands.


She earned her undergraduate degree from George Washington University, where she majored in Chemistry and Neuroscience, minored in Psychology, Astronomy, and Astrophysics, and was awarded multiple academic scholarships. Molly has also been published in peer-reviewed journals, including her recent article “Structure, Function, and Lipid Sensing Activity in the Thioesterase Superfamily” in Biochemical Society Transactions (2024). She is an active member of Students Interested in Biochemistry at Emory University and is conversational in Spanish.
